Tan or off white woman's smock stayle jacket or opera coat. It has greenish-blue velvet trim around the neck edge. There are tucks around the neckline with applied chemical lace motifs and larger lace flowers with covered brown buttons. Two to three rows of running stitches gather fullness of jacet bodu and sleeves at the yoke seam. It has full sleeves with 3 inch wide suffs that has tucks, applied chemical lace motifs and brown velvet ribbon. There is net embroidery edging at the cuff. The yoke is lines with silk. There are four hooks for closure in the front. The tag in the back reads, "The name Heers stands for merit" This coat was worn by Mrs. Leander Cox. Her husband was a prominent doctor. She was the aunt of the donor and the mother of Eleanor Cox of Cox Station.

Boy's green wool sailor suit and knickers. The sailor color is decorated with three horizontal pipings in the back and three vertical pipings that run vertically on each side of the collar. There is a button in inset in the front that also has three horizontal pipings. There is a black cotton tie sewn into the collar that is secured in front with a loop. The sleeve are long and have suffs. Each cuff has three horizontal pipings, a back button and button hole. There is a naval insignia in dark brown, yellow and light brown on the left sleeve. The knickers have a flap in front is held close with two black buttons. There are two button holes in the front and back of the knickers, probably for suspenders. A tag in the back of the knickers has hand-lettered, "McCormick". These were worn by Dr. C. F. McCormick as a boy ca 1900. He became a Springfield educator and principal of Jarrett Junior High for many years.

It is a black velvet flat hat. There is one tag with " A Creation of Cecille Lorraine" on it. It was owned by Mary Ruth McShane of Monett, Mo. The hatbox is brown and square with "Macy's Kansas City, Joplin, Mission 22" printed on the top.

Child's dance costume jacket made of tan velver, trimmed with peach satin and lace. Lined with brown cotton. Worn by Frank or Paul Jezzard, uncle and father of donor.
