Boy's wool Norfolk jacket and knickers. The jacket and knickers are of the same fabric. The dominate color is light brown, but there are a variety of colors in the tweed-like material. It also has a faint darker brown stripe. The jacket closes in front with three dark brown buttons. It has three pockets on the outside front. Each of these pockets has a button hole and a dark brown button to keep the pockets closed. There is also a button hole on the left lapel. The jacket has a self belt which has two button holes and two dark brown buttons. Two loops on the front of the jacket and two in back keep the belt in place. The inside of the jacket is lined in dark brown with the sleeves being lines in a striped fabric on different shades of brown. The knickers have a four button placket front opening. There is a watch pocket and two side pockets. There are also two back pockets that have flaps which are kept down with a brown button on each. There are five loops for a belt. The bottom of the knickers have a band that can be adjusted to fit snuggly to the leg. Each band has three brown buttons to assistant in adjustment. The knickers are lined with a light-weight striped fabric that is cut on the bias. A tag in the jacket reads, "Still Better Boys' Clothing. This was worn by Dr. C. F. McCormick ca 1900. He went on to become a Springfield educator and principal of Jarrett Junior High for many years

The hat has a stained glass design all over it and on top it is covered by a brown netting which has little brown fur balls in it. On the front of the hat there is plastic jewels, the hat is round and it is medium height.

A photograph of Prairie View School. The donor attached a note to the picture which reads "My father, Marshall Jackson, attended Prairie View School. On the day that the schools picture was made he had to help his father on the farm and missed being part of this photograph. However he bought one of the pictures and made a hand-made frame for it. The teacher in the middle was Bud Brown, grandfather of Wade Brown.
