Photo copy of of a copy of the marriage license of Edward Byrney Staley and Helen Ramona Black which took place in Springfield on October 23, 1937. The minister was C.F. Green, Loyd I. Miller was recorder of deeds and Doris Steury was deputy. The marriage license was filed on November 5, 1937. The official copy, from which this photo copy was made, was made February 2, 1972, Russell H. Keller was recorder of Deeds and Evelyn Ball was deputy.

Boy's green wool sailor suit and knickers. The sailor color is decorated with three horizontal pipings in the back and three vertical pipings that run vertically on each side of the collar. There is a button in inset in the front that also has three horizontal pipings. There is a black cotton tie sewn into the collar that is secured in front with a loop. The sleeve are long and have suffs. Each cuff has three horizontal pipings, a back button and button hole. There is a naval insignia in dark brown, yellow and light brown on the left sleeve. The knickers have a flap in front is held close with two black buttons. There are two button holes in the front and back of the knickers, probably for suspenders. A tag in the back of the knickers has hand-lettered, "McCormick". These were worn by Dr. C. F. McCormick as a boy ca 1900. He became a Springfield educator and principal of Jarrett Junior High for many years.

Boy's black and white tweed wool sailor shirt and matching knickers. The shirt has a blue-green sailor color trimmed with black piping edged in white. There is a botton-in inset in the front that is also blue-green and with the same trim. The cuffs match the collar and inset and close with one button. The shirt has one pocket on the front left breast which is lined in blue-green. There is a Navy insignia on the left sleeve. The background is black, the eagle and anchors are blue and the stripes are yellow. The knickers have a flap opening front. There should be a botton at both corners of the flap, but one is missing. There are two button holes in the front and two in the back for suspenders. The knickers have two side pockets. These were worn by Dr. C. F. McCormick ca 1900. He later became an educator in Springfield and was principal of Jarrett Junior High for several years.

5" x 7" black and white photoprint on students and teacher standing on the steps of Lincoln School. Lincoln School was the segregated school built in 1931 in Springfield by the Rosenwald Foundation. It currently houses the Ozarks Technical College. The donor, Edith Lucille Brewer Spenser, stands in the 2nd row from right, next to teacher Juanita S. Bland. Boy's wool Norfolk jacket and knickers. The jacket and knickers are of the same fabric. The dominate color is light brown, but there are a variety of colors in the tweed-like material. It also has a faint darker brown stripe. The jacket closes in front with three dark brown buttons. It has three pockets on the outside front. Each of these pockets has a button hole and a dark brown button to keep the pockets closed. There is also a button hole on the left lapel. The jacket has a self belt which has two button holes and two dark brown buttons. Two loops on the front of the jacket and two in back keep the belt in place. The inside of the jacket is lined in dark brown with the sleeves being lines in a striped fabric on different shades of brown. The knickers have a four button placket front opening. There is a watch pocket and two side pockets. There are also two back pockets that have flaps which are kept down with a brown button on each. There are five loops for a belt. The bottom of the knickers have a band that can be adjusted to fit snuggly to the leg. Each band has three brown buttons to assistant in adjustment. The knickers are lined with a light-weight striped fabric that is cut on the bias. A tag in the jacket reads, "Still Better Boys' Clothing. This was worn by Dr. C. F. McCormick ca 1900. He went on to become a Springfield educator and principal of Jarrett Junior High for many years

Boy's grey striped wool Norfolk jacket and knickers. The jacket is belted at the waist. The belt has two button holes and two buttons. There are four loops for the belt. Three bottons with buttons holes close the jacket in front. There is also a button hole on the left lapel. There is a breast pocket on the left outside front and two other pockets in front which have flaps. The sleeves have two bottons for decoration. The sleeves are lines with a light-weight fabric that has a pattern of alternating greenish stripes and bluish stripes. The rest of the jacket is lines with a havier, dark fabric. A label swen on the inside of the jacket reads, "Stillbetter, made is U.S.A., Lot 8, price $8.50 McCormich 2411 Brentwood." The knickers have a front flap opening. There is a button hole at both corners of the flap. Each corner has two button that can be used to close the flap, so the waist line can be adjusted. There are three button holes on the inside of the flap waist and five on the inside back wasit. The legs of the knickers are banded. Each band has one button and two button holes so the size of the leg opening can be adjusted. There are two pockets in front and one in back. This jacket and knickers were worn by Dr. C. F. McCormick ca 1900. He later became a Springfield educator and principal of Jarret Junior High for many years.
