Bust portrait of grey-haired man with round-tipped shirt collar and figured tie. A card with the photo says: "Fred W. Garrett/Shoe Salesman on Commercial St. early 1900's -1925 and Garrett Construction Co". With the photo is a newspaper clipping dated Oct. 27, 1908 of the Democratic ticket headed with William Jennins Bryan and ending with Constable for North Campbell Township R.S.Clifton.

Black and white photo of a horse drawn veterinary ambulance hauling a horse and a dog. Writing on side of ambulance says: "Dr. Love's Hospital, 4?? S. Campbell St., Tel. 345."

Book titled " Reminiscences of the Life and Travels of Mr.s Julia A.H. Colby", who was a life long teacher in Springfield and southwest Missouri. After her retirement in 1915 she opened a private academy for girls and was active in women's suffrage, the W.C.T.U., the Humane Society and Welfare Society. The book also contains tributes from friends and colleagues.

Black and white photo of a performance of the Black American Opera at a street fair on the city lot, on the corner of Campbell Ave. & McDaniel St. Includes a group of African American singers and musicians and white barkers.

Black and white print from a postcard of Hollet H. Snow holding two white or dapple grey draft horses. Snow was born in Greene County near Galloway Station in 1847, and died Aug. 4, 1929, at his home at 10805 Main in Springfield. He was a county law officer for 40 years, city marshall from 1881-1888, on the city police force for 2 years, a deputy, detective, and constable of Campbell township.

Two minie balls or bullets, grapeshot found at Phelps Grove Park. The park is on the site of the farm owned by John S. & Mary W. Phelps and was an active site during the Civil War.The area is Grand to Battlefield, Glenstone to Campbell, 1500 acres.

In the background is the city lot, near Campell and McDaniel, established to give more space to farmers selling produce and relieve some of the congestion on the public square. Part of a small collection given by the Jezzard Family. Measurements/Size: Original 5" square on cardboard mount. Material/Color: black and white photographic print, paper and emulsion. Heggarty, 6- Sophie Nichols, 7- Gen Kearney. The Loretto Academy was founded as a Catholic girl's school in 1878 on N. Campbell Ave. It closed in 1919.

A group of students and their teacher standing outside of Rountree School in 1937-38. The picture was taken by Stuart Photo. This is not the Rountree School in Springfield, but a Greene County school at the southeast corner of old highway FF and Farm Rd. 168.

It currently houses the Ozarks Technical College. The donor, Edith Lucille Brewer Spenser, stands in the 2nd row from right, next to teacher Juanita S. Bland.
