(con't) 5- Mary Durbin, 6- Daisy Kirby, 7- Louise Cullen, 8- Mary Kate Fay, (front row) 1- ? Gillespie, 2- Evelyn ?, 3- Marie Cotter, 4- Ethel Farmer, 5- Ann? Heggarty, 6- Sophie Nichols, 7- Gen Kearney. The Loretto Academy was founded as a Catholic girl's school in 1878 on N. Campbell Ave. It closed in 1919.
