A black and white photo of Major Weaver's grovery store and house. Jane Ann Weaver has an apron on and stands on front porch and Major Weaver, wearing a suit stands in front of her in street. He managed a sawmill in Galena, then moved to Bower's Mill, where he had a saw mill in connection with the store. Weavers returned to Springfield about 1890 where Weaver was elected to the legislatue in 1896.
