A black and white photo taken by Hayward Barnett of a statue of a young boy holding a frog. This figure was carved out of Carthage marble and placed on a pedestal in the center of the lily pool at Phelps Grove. The statue was created to commemorate Mrs. Phelp's work with Civil War orphans. Mrs. Roberta Stoneman Baker was commissioned to do the piece. Dedication ceremonies took place on April 22, 1956.
