Black and white Photo of southwest corner of the Public Square. On the south side we have Kresge Dime Store. Then moving along the west side there is Newberrys, F. W. Woolworth Co, Household Finance Co., and National Shirt Shop. A portion of College Street is shown with the Heers store barely visible. There are parking meters on the Square.

The buildings at the southwest corner of the public square and down the south side of College street are shown. The south corner of Heers is also shown. An electric street car is rounding the concrete " Pie ". 2.5 X 4 Inches. Black and white photo print. Paper and emulsion. Worn edges on left and top. Four places where layer is gone. A tinted postcard of Doling Park Lake. The footbridge and ride chute-the-shoots can be seen. On the back the card is stamped with a one cent stamp and addressed to Ms. Homer Humphreys of Rich Hill, Missouri with a message from her brother Russell.

Black and white photo in original paper container of Fr. Peter J. Kilkenny. Writing on frame says, "Father Peter J. Kilkenny of the Sacred Heart Church, Springfield, Missouri, and later an Army Chaplain. He married Guy E. Richardson and Alice Kearney."

A hand tinted tintype photograph of a man taken in Rolla, Missouri by W.J. Guild. The reverse side of the photograph is stamped with the maker's seal. The man himself in the photo is dressed in a dark striped suit and the photograph is taken from the waist up. The photograph was not fit to scan.

Published to commemorate the 50th annniversary of the merger of First Presbyterian Church and Calvary Presbyterian Church. The donor, Associate Pastor at First and Calvary, was responsible for coordinating the publishing and distribution of the book.

Taken at same time as 1992-30. Measurements/Size: 2 7/8" x 3 3/8" on 3 1/2" x 4 3/8". Material/Color: Emulsion, paper affixed to scalloped cardboard/sepia. Several scratches, stained cardboard. Machine made.

Black and white panoramic photocopy of the opening of Kohlers on National Street in Springfield on June 25, 1914. There is a large crown of men, women and children in fron of the store. Two girls are holding violins, one boy a trombone and one boy has a drum set. The building is brick and has a striped awning. On the awning it reads "GROCERIES, HARDWARE, SHOES, DRYGOODS". There is a streetcar in the background that says "state" on it. Electrical lines are visible. There is a drug store in the background

Black and white photo of the southwest quadrant of the Public Square looking south on South Ave. W. H. Mansfield Tinware business is shown in photo as well as the band stand/bell tower. The Opera House can also be seen in addition to the St. Paul Methodist church.
