A Masonic group, (Prince Hall, or Eureka or Truth Lodge) possibly at a state or national convention, maybe in St. Louis or Kansas City. The back of the photo reads: "A M Smith, A S Jones, Independence, Box----." Photo found by donor in the Looney home at 1509 N Sherman.

Black and white photo of the Southwestern Bell Telephone building at the southwest corner of McDaniel St. and Jefferson Ave. The McDaniel St. side appears in the photo with scaffolding to the top of the building. Another story was being added to building and one of the workmen had been killed in a fall from the scaffolding. A drugstore can be seen on the right corner of the photo.

Across the street at the southwest corner is the Colonial Hotel. Note the free standing stop light, ths brick pavement and the maze of street car tracks. 10 X 8 inches.
