A nude figurine possibly in the likeness of Bette Davis. The writing on the back of the photo indicates it was made and carved by a Mr. Twiss of Arkansas and given to Bette Davis as än "Özark Oscar" by radio station KWTO upon the occasion of Miss Davis' visit to Springfield for a bond drive during WWII.Black and white, 8x10

Northwest corner of Jefferson Ave. and Walnut St. looking Northwest. Corner building burned February ? 1998. There is a historical marker in the wall of the building indicating that this was the site of the first post office . Some time after 1935 the garage burned. Note the two gasoline pumps that are out near the curb. 7 X 5 inches.

None of those shown are identified. The instructor was Rebecca Andrews of Walnut Ridge, AR. 8 inches x 10 inches. Black and white.

Wooden quilting frame, stretcher bar end pieces ,2 sawhorses made by Marion Croney for Marie Ralls Brewster, the mother of the donor. Marie used the frame in her home to quilt with her mother, Ida Boyd, in Ellington, MO. She was a charter member of the Ozark Piecemakers Quilt Guild.

Much of the newsletter is devoted to the history of the Weaver Brothers and Elviry country music troupe. Folder also contains three letters from W.K. McNeil, Editor of the Ozark Folk Center, Mt. View AR, addressed to Loretta W. Torbett, daughter of Elviry Weaver. Folder also contains one letter from Loretta Torbett to a woman named Mary.
