A black and white photo of Marjorie K. Shackelford, 3 months old. She was born June 18, 1904 in Pecular Cass Co., MO. She married June 12, 1938 in Ottawa KS to Jesse Goodin McCune. Lived in Peculiar, Ottawa, Kansas City (1943-1970), Nixa (1970-1986) and Springfield (1986-1996). One son Paul B. McCune of Springfield. She was living at The Gardens, Springfield, MO as of 1996 at age 92. This information written by Paul B. McCune. Mrs. McCune taught 5th grade in Ottawa, at Center Elementary. The museum owns the christening gown shown here.
