The building now known as old Lincoln School stood at Central and Washington, South of Drury College. New Lincoln was built in 1931 by the Rosenwald Foundation.

Black and white photo of former President Theodore Roosevelt in an open car driven by Dave McGregor. He came in by train to campaign for President on the Progressive or "Bull Moose" ticket. He was met at the railroad station and driven to Drury College where he spoke at an outdoor rally.
