Description/History:A collection of 13 color photos of Governor John Ashcroft's visit to Phelps' Center for the Gifted on March 14, 1985. The first scanned photo shows Laura Buccanon (in red), a teacher at Phelps, and Sara Lampe, Director of Gifted Education, with the Governor. The second photo shows Lampe and the Governor with a group of older children.
