Description/History:Ladies blue handerchief. Approximately 9-1/2 inches by 9-1/2 inches. This was Helen Ramona Black's "something blue" for her wedding ensemble when she married Edward Burney Staley on October 23, 1937, in Springfield, Missouri. The blue fabric is very light. There is pink thread around the hem of the handkerchief. One corner is decorated with embroidery. It is small flowers of purple, blue, yellow and pink.
