Description/History:Black and white photograph of Normal (SMS) girls basketball team in 1908. There are twelve individuals in the photo. Three female students are in the first row. They are all wearing the same kind of bouse and each is wearing a white tie. The girl in the middle is holding a basketball that has ' 08 on it. The middle row has four individuals. The one farthest to the left is a man. He is wearing a suit and tie. There are two young women in the middle. The woman who is third from the left has on a middy top with white stripes. The woman of the far right is an adult and is wearing a high collared dress with puffy sleeves and tucks down the bodice. She is holding a Normal pennant. There are five girls in the back row. The second from the left is holding a Normal pennant. This picture was taken outside, in front of a house. The house has a porch and a wooden plank sidewalk.
