Description/History:It is a valentine card with a girl in a red dress with a blue umbrella standing next to a cat with a black and white checkered bow. The text reads "Valentine Greetings , To a good little girl I know". On the back is handwritten " frm Miss Ruth". The paper is cardboard and the card is meant to stand upright. It is a valentine given to Mary Ruth Johnson McShane (1909-2001) of Mt. Vernon during her school years.
