Description/History:It is a heart shaped valentine with a red border and a color illustration of 2 cottages and a garden on the front. There is a red ribbon tied to the top. Handwritten on the back is "Mary J., From *unreadable*". "AA Germany" is printed on the back.The text reads "Hello Valentine" on the bottom. It is a valentine given to Mary Ruth Johnson McShane (1909-2001) of Mt. Vernon during her school years.
