Description/History:Black lace and flower hat designed to cover only the back half of the head. Velvet covered wire provided the shape of the hat and it is covered by black silk flowers, lace, and a black velvet ribbon.It was owned by Mary Ruth McShane of Monett, Mo. The hat box is light green with purple stripes. Printed on the top is " Gage Hats , New York and Chicago" with the illustration of a lamppost and lion statue.
