On the back is a rubber-stamp date of June 7, 1914 and the regiment information: camp 73, Co. A, 40th.Rregiment, U.R. W.O.W./ C. L. Leeper, 2nd Sergeant/ Kansas City, Mo. The uniform sleeves have a 3-stripe chevron with crossed axes below. The hat insignia is; Mo./60/crossed axes / A.
