Description/History:Woman's party or dance dress made of silk georgette with picot edging, back slit and scalloped hem. Tan fabric printed in a fan-like pattern in pink, blue, brown and red. Peach color slip made of silk crepe de chine. Worn by Esther Mitchell Oleson, mother of the donor. She was from North Carolina but was living in Pittsburgh, PA when she bought the dress.
