Description/History:Color photoprint of woman pinning boutinniere on Gerald Brooks with his wife Velma standing by his side. Gerald Brooks recognition after 29 years in the Springfield School system. Brooks started the first marching band at Lincoln School and was the first foreign language teacher at that school. After desegregation he taught at Central and Glendale High Schools.
