M. Burns Description/History:Square grand piano made of rosewood, Empire style, bought ca 1852-1855 by John Baptist Beiderlinden, a native of Prussia who came to Springfield ca 1841-1843. John was a music teacher, Justice of the Peace (office 102 Public Square) an Assistant Assessor and Deputy Collector for the Internal Revenue.
