Description/History:Black and white photo of the Farmers and Merchants Bank at the northeast corner of Campbell Avenue and Walnut Street. The Famous Grocery; 328 South Campbell Avenue, and the Famous Meat Market also occupy this two story brick building. At the top of this building is a plaque which reads " L. T. Watson 1885 " This would indicate the builder of this building. At the rear of the building is a sign that reads " Ice Cream and Candy " On the pole in front of the building is an electric street light. Also on the pole is a sign that reads " Campbell " There is a boy sitting on a safety bicycle near the stone curbing. He is wearing " Knickers " There are thirteen people in the picture. Of interest is a boy crossing the street carrying some books.
