Description/History:Black and white photograph of Springfield stockyards, ( Southwest Regional Stockyards) showing display buildings and a number of trucks and cars. Frank Gammon's father lost his farm in Buffalo, Mo., during the depression and came to Springfield, Mo. To work as a broker in a commission company at the Springfield Stockyards. His son ( Frank E. ) and grandson have continued in the business and currently own Gammon Cattle Company at the Southwest Regional Stockyards. The family have been associated in business with the stockyards for over 50 years.
