Description/History:Black and white photo of the Greene County Sheriff's residence facing Robberson Ave. with the Greene County Jail attached to the back. A man and woman are in the background and a child is in the foreground. These buildings were behind the Greene County Courthouse. The jail was broken into in 1906, 3 blacks were taken from there to the public square and lynched.
