Description/History:Black and white photo of the Springfield Orchestral Society (which later became the Springfield Symphony). The orchestra is seated on stage at Clara Thompson Hall, Drury College. Conductor James Robertson is standing at the podium near the center. The donor, Martha Delange Scharpf, played in the Springfield Symphony for many years.
