Description/History:Sepia tone photo of a work crew standing in front of McDaniel Lake and Dam. They are building the lake and dam and Almon Callentine, father of donor, is in front row. He ran a concrete mixer for the construction crew. Also shown is Charlie Cowden. McDaniel Lake and Dam were built ca 1930 to form a supplementary water supply for Springfield.
